The Indonesian Journal of Empowerment, Service, and Training (IJEST) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal that focuses on the intersection of community empowerment, service, and professional training in Indonesia and beyond. The journal provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share insights, case studies, and best practices in community development, social service, and training programs.

IJEST welcomes high-quality research articles, case studies, and conceptual papers that address, but are not limited to, the following areas:

IJEST encourages interdisciplinary and comparative studies that highlight innovative practices and evidence-based approaches in empowerment, service, and training. The journal accepts manuscripts in English and Bahasa Indonesia and aims to foster collaboration between academics, practitioners, and policymakers to promote impactful social change.

Call for Reviewers

The Indonesian Journal of Empowerment, Service, and Training (IJEST) seeks qualified individuals to join its esteemed panel of reviewers. IJEST is a reputable scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research in current issues of community empowerment, service, and professional training with a strong emphasis on Indonesian perspectives. We invite enthusiastic academics and researchers committed to promoting the dissemination of community empowerment, service, and professional training studies to contribute their expertise in evaluating scholarly manuscripts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one/two publications indexed by SCOPUS or an internationally recognized relevant Indexer.
  • A PhD. (or still studying for a PhD.) in education attributes, language studies, and technology applications.
  • Strong research background and expertise in community empowerment, service, and professional training studies.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering the development of community empowerment, service, and professional training studies focusing on Indonesian contexts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely and constructive peer reviews of manuscripts assigned by the Editorial Board.
  • Evaluate the quality, originality, and relevance of submitted manuscripts.
  • Provide insightful feedback and suggestions for improvement to enhance the scholarly contributions of authors.
  • Uphold the ethical standards and confidentiality in the peer review process.

Interested individuals are invited to submit their applications by April 1, 2025. Please include the following information in your application:

  • Full name and contact details (email, phone number, affiliation).
  • Curriculum Vitae highlighting academic qualifications and research experience.
  • List of publications, specifying those indexed by SCOPUS.
  • A brief statement (200-300 words) highlighting your research interests and expertise in community empowerment, service, and professional training studies, particularly in relation to Indonesian perspectives.
  • Availability and commitment to providing timely reviews.
